Welcome to Northern Suburbs Tennis Association

The NSTA is responsible for the operation of tennis within the area from:

1. the Harbour Bridge to Mona Vale Road
2. Spit Bridge to Figtree Bridge
3. Lane Cove National Park to Roseville Bridge.

The NSTA’s main tennis centre is at Talus Street, Naremburn where it has developed eight floodlit courts and clubhouse on land leased from Willoughby Council. The NSTA also owns 5 courts and a clubhouse at Wheatleigh Street, Naremburn. A full time administrator is employed at our Talus Street centre.

Tennis is controlled in New South Wales by Tennis New South Wales (TNSW) which is based at the Sydney International Tennis Centre at Homebush.

All players who compete in New South Wales are required to be registered with TNSW who provide a registration number that is required on all entry forms for sanctioned tournaments. Registration also covers personal injury insurance.

Players may register directly with TNSW but players who participate in NSTA tournaments and competitions are automatically registered by NSTA direct with TNSW provided personal details are supplied. TNSW can provide information on tournaments, events, squads, coaches and a wide range of tennis information.

Affiliated with TNSW is the NSW Hardcourt Tennis Association (NSWHCTA) which also conducts various competitions, tournaments, round robins and squads.
