About NSTA

The Northern Suburbs Tennis Association Inc is an incorporated association which is responsible for the operation of tennis within the area from:

  • the Harbour Bridge to Mona Vale Road, St Ives/Pymble
  • Spit Bridge (Mosman) to Figtree Bridge (Lane Cove)
  • Lane Cove National Park to Roseville Bridge

The NSTA's main tennis centre is at Talus Street, Naremburn where it has developed eight floodlit courts and clubhouse on land leased from Willoughby Council.  The NSTA also owns five courts and clubhouse at Wheatleigh Street, Naremburn.  A full time administrator is employed at our Talus Street Centre.

The role of the NSTA is to conduct, play and promote the sport of tennis through:

  • Engendering a fraternal feeling among members
  • Acquiring facilities
  • Conducting competitions and/or tournaments
  • Promoting and encouraging junior tennis

The NSTA offers:

  • Competitions: Night, Friday Evening Junior, Saturday Morning Junior, Saturday Afternoon and Sunday Morning
  • Tournaments: Junior Open (Australian Ranking), Junior Closed, Grade, City Junior (Australian Ranking)
  • Challenges: Primary Schools, Family and Junior Round Robins
  • Court Hire: 8 floodlit synthetic grass courts at its headquarters at Talus Street, Naremburn
