The NSTA is one of 17 Metropolitan Hardcourt Associations and one of the few to successfully survive due to the Club system which has long been an integral part of the NSTA.

Club life can offer great opportunities to players of all ages and standards.  A number of Clubs in the NSTA have a long and successful history and fundamentally because they are administered by volunteers.  Hence members are offered excellent facilities and unlimited tennis at very reasonable rates. 

Clubs within the NSTA vary in amenities and services ... some have their courts available all week, while some play on Saturdays only and others on Saturdays and Sundays.  Clubs participate in various NSTA competitions and provide social tennis for their members.  Many regularly host social events and some travel as a group to long weekend country tournaments.
